Romain Gowe alias DJ Romain, born in New York, reached a lot in his career already. He was resident DJ in several New York House Clubs and played together with house legends like Francois K., Joe Clausell and Danny Krivit. After his first steps he started to produce a lot of own records for many labels. His first record was "Get Your Thang Together" and was released in 1991 by the legendary Strictly Rhythm label. Together with Jon Cutler he started in 2000 the label Metro Trax . 3 years later he started another own label which is called "Nu Faze Records". Many many release on his two labels gave him a great standing in the music biz now. DJ Romain's track "Comanche" is surely one of the best tribal latin house tracks ever. It was released in 2001 on his own imprint Metro Trax already, but it seems to be that no one in europe payed attention to this song. It was a Pleasure for Jack Haiti to pick up this song again and to do a new release on hiw label Haiti Groove Recordings for all the people who don't know it. The pressing contains the Main Mix, a Dub Version and a Beats Tool.
